1) Saffron
1. Take 1 litre of water, add cinnamon
sticks, star anise, crushed or grated ginger, turmeric powder and boil for 5 to
7 minutes.
2. Stain and add strands of saffron and cover it immediately.
3. Pour into individual serving cups.
4. Brown sugar may be added (but I drank it without any sweetener). The hint of
sweetness in cinnamon itself is enough.
